Re: IAC on turbo v8 Help needed
just ticking 2 bar should fix up the tps problem and timing. is your dizzy set to 10 deg base advance in diag mode? maybe it was retarded a bit and stopped it pingin?

Re: IAC on turbo v8 Help needed
Had a look at your bin and as jamye says its set to 1 bar.
My suggestion to unset code 19 was only meant as a test if you did what Jayme said (set 2 bar) and you still had the problem.
If you are getting 0% and 100% readings on tps then tps sensor must be ok . ithought i read that you werent getting the full range before. My mistake.

Re: IAC on turbo v8 Help needed
It was a few years ago but i musta fixed it along the line somewere. Still cant believe the timing and that it hasnt done a headgasket and ive done about 400ks since hooking it all up. Done 150ks in 1 night
Do you guys think setting the tune to 2 bar will fix my iac problems?

Just a stab in the dark.
You said earlier that it was an auto converted to manual.
I haven't seen your log but on your TP dash,is your closed loop idle showing set or clear at idle?
On my auto at idle in park,it shows set.
As i have a munro with the original T-bar set up,i had to rig up a way of grounding the P/N wire to the ECU in park.
With a sloppy T-bar i can make it show "set or clear" and the rate of rev change and AF ratio of roughly 100-200 rpm and .50 afr
I know the manuals didn't need the grounded wire, but if you still have the auto loom in there, ground the P/N wire and take a log showing it being grounded and not grounded.
Mine definetly idles better in park.
Worth a shot as someone on here may find something.

Re: IAC on turbo v8 Help needed
id definitely be checkin the base timing again. it really should have been way way too much advance and pinging its head off. maybe your dizzy has moved in the last 5 years?
havent looked at the log, but 60 deg on manifold temp sensor is low.
