Charge Temp - % Coolant contribution for calculating charge temp Vs RPM & MAP in 12p and under it is the boost table which needs setting up
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

And "Charge Temp - Inverse Temperature term vs Charge Temperature term"

Did you tune it at running temp? If you didnt, then probably its your cold correction that was wrong first, and now your VE would be as well. Just a thought...

Ok I see those 2 tables, the first one charge temp coolant contribution for calculation charge temp, This just looks like it is a graph for figuring out the charge temp from the coolant temp?? Are you saying this changes the actual afr delivered vs the numbers on this graph? doesn't make sense to me... lol

Then the second one, Charge temp inverse temperature term: It looks puzzling also, it looks like a conversion graph from degrees C to degrees K ?? what does it do?

I have turned off all the initial cold engine corrections antus, Yes engine running temp when adjusting the ve table. If I go for a drive with engine up mto temp, then stop and let everything heat soak the afr change is unacceptable. going from stoich to 17-18:1 the engine is almost popping lean and surging t idle from lean so it is not the gauge.

I wish there was a graph that said: manifold air temperature vs afr change from normal,,, ha ha

The only links to the problem appear to be the volts dropping with engine bay temp increase and the manifold air temp increasing at the same time as the engine leaning.

if i remember right Charge Temp - % Coolant contribution for calculating charge temp Vs RPM & MAP is a table to adjust what % of its charge temp calcs are performed by coolant temp sensor and air temp sensor so it makes the ecu use more of the air temp sensor as charge temp value or more coolant temp depending on % in the table.youll see at idle in the table its useing nearly 100% coolant temp as the value its useing for the calcs as the manifold heatsoaks and would give incorrect charge temp figures as the sensor pretty much reads coolant temp at idle from the heatsoak

edit and at revs high map its using the air temp sensor reading more due to it being the best way to work out the charge temp with mass flow of air going over it

ok, that makes sense but where/which graph if any, is it actually changing the injector pulse time vs any manifold or charge temperatures?? This is what i can't find.

Unless the engine lean out happens as my actual battery or wires heatsoak?? Could a .3 volt change the actual pulsewidth enough to make me lean out?
If I change the injector pulse width vs battery volts in the cell that the volts drop to when hot from 1.1 to 1.5 the afr instantly return to normal.

I guess I will need to then check the afr with a hot engine and cold to see if it then makes it too rich when cold.

I just can't tell if the problem is the battery voltage dropping or the manifold temperature because the battery doesn't drop volts untill the manifold air temp gets up to around 100 or so... stumped! a graph of injector pulse vs manifold temp doesn't seem to exist (or i still cant see it) for me to alter so looks like my only option is to muck around with the voltage offsets vs injector pulse

I might try to find a way to get the battery volts down while the manifold and air temps are cold to see if it leans then, that would tell me if the problem is volts or charge temp.
