Re: tuning help?
will have to read the original memcal again! i accidentally saved over it with the newest cal. lol but yer i understand now. i thought that since i was able to edit the xdf and add columns then it would work. wont do that again

Re: tuning help?
the xdf just defines areas in the factory bin, so you can only edit what's there, so in fact you can if you know the equations and locations just edit the hex directly in a hex editor without tunerpro, but tunerpro makes it much more like english
If you need stock bins download memcal id tool, there all in there. By the looks of it to your using an older bin so using the latest one maybe a good idea as well.

i was just looking at the bins in your id tool. i didnt see any DULW? (edit: it helps if i click and drag the id tool over to show the lhs of it
lol)
the log tonight didnt happen. i burnt the original tune to the memcal. went to leave and no bingo. fans came on and it just cranked over. so in went the stock memcal! lucky i kept that in the car lol ill reburn it and try again tomorrow.

Good to hear its got advance back. Was it just the added bonus mgc table extension that was causing the issue? Interesting.
Dont forget though, that you can edit column and row values to link with the adx for purpose of data tracing, although extending a table with no hex data to feed it(if thats how it works?)might be a touch ambitious
Do you have spare eeproms? Nigel maybe able to elaborate more on this, but ive noticed after a few (15-20 odd) erases and burns errors start to creep in. A fresh eeprom seems to fix this. Last one refused too run cooling fans regardless of temp, fresh eep fixed this

Re: tuning help?
DULW is loaded up but havent started the car yet. there are a few differences in fueling. timing seems to be basically the same as DLTK.
i've only donw probably 7-8 erases so i think it was just operator error.
are the original memcals able to be uv erased and programmed? i cant find a chip number for them in the willem programmer software? i'vr got a mate getting some stock memcals together but i dont know if there usable?

usually FM27C010 from memory or just use the generic 27C010, once you have the right size chip just hit ID and it will generally always find it.

Re: tuning help?
DULW worked alright. my timing goes to 0 in one run with 5kr and 3degrees with 5kr.. thats after taking 2degrees timing out. so ill add some fuel and try again.
