Re: Couldnt really find a section for this..
Maybe you could try putting the chip back in the dash to check it still works and hasnt been corrupted.
Re: Couldnt really find a section for this..
all i can think of then is it's the serial to usb convertor your using or are you using straight serial? i used min on a convertor..
Re: Couldnt really find a section for this..
I have been using a straght serial cable off com1
Have just installed a usb to serial on com3. Looks better but still not pulling in the correct data.
Also will not write, even tried a blank chip and changed only one bit, still would not write.
So have tried 3 computers 2 different connections types 4 differnt computer chips including blank.
The1@ what are your settings com3 SI Prog API ?

Re: Couldnt really find a section for this..
yeh same here, dunno what's going on, working fine here
So in the program youve got X2444 eeprom and x2444 in the two drop downs?

Re: Couldnt really find a section for this..
See images, a second question is do you need to change all 3 sections with the new hex numbers?The1 wrote:yeh same here, dunno what's going on, working fine hereSo in the program youve got X2444 eeprom and x2444 in the two drop downs?
Also a question about the main check digit, what if the numbers add up to more the 15, you can not have a negative ? ie 999999 when you add 9+9+9 = 27 ^15 = -11 ?
