Re: un-australian
Surely port 21 (Used for FTP) would be open, otherwise can you redirect RDP to port 80?
Failing that if you just want to read posts you can always use google translate as a proxy, not sure if you can still change the translate url to go from english > english, if you can't try Norwegian > English. Used to work back when I was still at school

Re: un-australian
no the problem is i am using those ports already at home for legitimate services so i need to find a port that im not using at home which work has open then i can re-direct RDP through that port!

sus out what the outside IP address of your work is, and set apache to proxy traffic from that address on port 80. Then you should be able to leave the services at home up, stay secure and let yourself proxy from there Just be careful and make sure you dont open apache proxy to the world! I see probes for that all day and night at home.
