Hey Guys,
Trying to eliminate as much of the 'rev' at startup on my 304, is there really much purpose to this rev anyway ? Would anyone know the areas I can adjust to make the startup as flat as possible ?
Thanks!
Glen

Re: Rev at startup
i am assuming you mean once it fires it will was rev up to 1500rpm then slowly drop back to idle speed ?
if so it will be in the IAC settings, you might find though if you close it too much the engine wont start.
do a log when your starting the car and plot the IAC settings.
i've been doing alot of work on this with my 202, since putting the new cam in it i need alot more IAC to get it to fire and then also when putting it in gear its the same needs more IAC so it doesn't stall.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Rev at startup
arr ok,
Im trying to limit it in the ute as much as possible....it doesn't work really well sometimes in a 4x4 when you need to start it in gear...even if I can reduce it a bit, id be happy..
Thanks
Glen
