Re: Vt v6 van dual fuel
"block learn multiplier". Its a table of values the pcm uses to track how far out what the o2 sensor is reporting vs the expected with the programmed tune. It gives the car some ability to handle degrading hardware like fuel regulator or pump or any air leaks and so on. If the car doesnt know its on LPG it'll adjust the fuelling and never hit the mark as it makes no diff. to LPG and when you do switch back to petrol it'll be a long way out.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

So iv got the realtime chip up and running, it works brilliantly. Iv done a few little changes and iv ordered myself a wideband sensor and a burner. Lots of fun times ahead lol

you get hooked on this stuff pretty quickly mate. considered running your new turbo setup on $12p? custom made for boosted commys. thats what ill be using, some might say im either game or incredibly stupid for learning 12p on a big dollar turbo setup, but with the collective knowledge on this forum and a little discipline and care i think ill be right.

Re: Vt v6 van dual fuel
lol i think ill just play with my van for now as it has a bottom end rattle when cold (something went through the motor a couple of weeks ago) and i havnt even worked out much of what im looking at so i think ill leave my expensive forged motor to the pro's. i think ill be going the ls1 computer on the l67 anyway.
i havnt done much more with the van as yet, still waiting for my goodies. heres a log from the otherday on gas i used the vs v6 adx

Hi Yoda,
Sorry to hijack this thread. In your diagram of vt wiring for lpg there is a wire going into e11. I can't find this wire on vt diagrams. Can you tell me what it is?

On factory LPG system, is is powered from the ignition wire and tells the computer an lpg system is fitted.
If not present you will be unable to select LPG with the momentary switch as the ECU will not know there is an LPG system fitted.
Can get good info from here on how the system works:
http://www.apexus.com.au/document/kits/qk103.pdf
Don't require a relay to cut gas if engine stalls, as ECU will do this automatically.

Re: Vt v6 van dual fuel
Ok now you confused me!, Is the momentary switch separate from the LPG/petrol switch ? Or am I not reading it right?

Re: Vt v6 van dual fuel
The petrol/LPG switch is a momentary switch on factory LPG.
Aftermarket systems use a switch to activate a relay or two to disconnect injectors at activate the LPG system, factory setup does all this inside the ECU and momentary switch to tell it to swap fuels.

From the diagram, the a4 is ignition yeah? if 12 volt is applied to the red wires at A4 this will turn on the lpg relay all the time the ignition is on. You would not be able to turn off lpg? Not trying to hassle you, just trying to understand it.

Re: Vt v6 van dual fuel
LPG relay is activated by the ECU when it grounds E1.
On LPG E1 is grounded by ECU and LPG system is active, ECU also turns injectors off and uses LPG spark map. When on petrol E1 is open circuit so relay off and gas system inactive, engine runs on petrol as per normal.
