Hey All,
Just a quick question & as the topic suggests is there any difference between prolific usb to serial bridge Vs just a USB serial converter?
There properties show the same speed & option, but the advanced settings are very different!

Most the prolific brand chips wont do 8192 baud for ALDL. There is a registry hack somewhere that is meant to work on some of them, but didnt work on the couple I tried.
