$5D to $12P Conversion

Post by 300kwv6 »

I have a Commodore VN V6 2 bar tune on $5D that I'd like to convert to $12P so I can play around with it.

Can someone help me out? I can post or PM .bin file if needed.

Cheers

my best suggestion would be to put the tables from $5D into a spreadhseet, then use averages to add the extra rows/columns for $12P then paste it in.

i don't think too many people will be keen to do it all for you. aswell as that the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty yourself.

but at the end of the day its going to be a manual process thats up to you.

i'd probably get fuel and spark tables mapped across and leave most of the rest as per the $12P code. ...

Yeah, I have manually typed the spark and ve table in, was just wondering if there was an easier way.
I have a fairly modified v8 that I have 80% tuned already and really didn't want to start from scratch. The autove doesn't work if the motor doesn't start/run.

Use a spreadsheet as an intermediate calculator as above, but set it up so that you can just copy and paste the input and output and keep hold of it. Takes a bit of setting up the first time but only a few seconds to use it after that. I thought I had one but can't seem to find it at present.
