I finally got hitched!!

Post by Holden202T »

Well it has been a long time coming but it finally all came together on 5th Sept .... perfect weather, perfect cars, perfect reception it was just all spot on.

I know most of you probably don't give to much of a shit about my love life but i thought i'd post up the only pics i have at the moment of the wedding cars ....

we tried to get chevs but they were booked so then we were looking at a limo (cadilac from memory) and then the chev bloke rung back and told us he had two mates that have chevs that sometimes help him out and they are available. :punk:

the blue one was our chariot for the day
Image
apparently it was a 383 stroker or something of the sort, didn't sound tooo worked but it had pull from all revs (i know i know you can't beat cubic inchs)

Image
now apparently this one was a 350 with more of a cam and engine work etc .... from what the guys in it told me it still went good, just needed to get up on the cam (compared to the blue beast which i am guessing had a much flatter torque curve)

needless to say both were bloody awesome cars to be cruising around in  especially when we went past this bloke in a saab (newish) and he just looked over and had that look on his face like "wtf am i doing in this saab that car is so much more cool" it was priceless!

last but not least is the wedding cake ....

Image
custom made figurines - we supply photos of us and what our outfits look like and they made them to suit .... i jokingly said at the cake shop, why not have Marie in an EK with me under the bonnet in my suit with spanners etc in the back pocket .... so they did :)

Congratulations mate, looks like a great day had by all.
Hopefully not to many of the hobbies get curtailed too much, speaking from experience, once kids come along you start wondering where all the hours in the day suddenly disappeared to.
All the best for you and the new Mrs Holden202.
