yip sure is .i just found a brandnew never used still packaged stock torque converter here for $50 odd bucks but the freight is not gonna be cheap i think.maybe ill buy it and do a road trip but thats just as dear as freight nowdays maybe someone from taupo is coming down ill best get on the phone and see what freight is worth would be nice to fit brandnew rather than some dodgy second hand jobby.

yip stock pump feeding the surge then big MOFO pump through filter to engine. hopefully the stock pump lasts a while no idea on its age and ive been wondering if its got something to do with my running issues.but it doesnt matter in the surge filling role wont be under pressure and should flow plenty due to that reason if it dies ill get a $40 replacement stock intank pump  .just got a new valvoline fuel filter ready for the install cheap as in the stock clearance sale bin at supercheap .

Ive got a 34 year old stock in tank carbie pressure gemini pump feeding my surge tank before the efi pump and it and it runs fine, so sounds to me like that setup should work well.

I'm as keen as the next guy for a good deal- hell my ancestry is Scottish - but it sucks that all too often these days we go overseas to buy stuff that could help keep one of our own in a job buying local - try putting the hard word on the guy here in NZ and let him know what you can get it for from the states
