I thought id better put this in its own thread. Iv been working on a auto only tune for my vt as I'm running the wolf 3d for the motor side of things. Iv hit a few bumps but its not far off now, i only killed one auto :/. What iv done is doubled up on the tps and cts as i was getting erratic figures with two ecus off the one output.
I think this will be good for people wanting to run aftermarket or 808 mafless on theirs vt/vx/vy and keep the 4l60e, dash and bcm features.
Im currently running dual ecu's on my vt turbo running the wolf with low impedance batchfire injectors on e85 and the l67 computer with a working dash, temp, elec auto ect. Ill post it up when im on my laptop.
Still got a few bugs to iron out when i modify an xdf with a few more parameters

Re: Dual ecu's mafless vt
Been a while but im still working on this one...
Wondering how i could go about giving the ecu another way of reading rpm so it knows when the vehicle is running?? Currently its missing its etc output and its bypass output but retains the rest of inputs from the dfi module, i would of thought that it would still get a reading?

Re: Dual ecu's mafless vt
It should do, it uses the 3x crankshaft reference for RPM calculations.

Re: Dual ecu's mafless vt
Right so i hooked up the crank reference wire instead of the 02 wire ( come on there both violet!!) lol now i have an rpm signal. Just need to fix iac error and maff failure and should be engine light free

Re: Dual ecu's mafless vt
No its not. I was missing the maff failure flag in the xdf but i found it in the vr xdf and the bit numbers looked to be the same so i made a new one in the vt xdf and has worked as far as i can tell

Yeah just masking the codes should sort that out.
Here is what I have in my disassembly -

Re: Dual ecu's mafless vt
Found a few more on there to add aswell. Well heres the xdf for $A5F with all the malfunction codes and engine light masks.
Heres the Bin iv made for dual ECUs in a vt, its also got shift pressure changes, fan on changes, no egr and no vats
big thanks to Charlay86 for supplying the info and having the patience to teach me
