Police mode digital speedo on VY

Post by Stringyweevil »

Hi guys. I have a aldl USB cable on the way so I can start fiddling around with tuning my vy v6 (don't worry I bought a spare PCM to experiment on :P) and I was wondering if anyone knows a way to enable the digital dash using flash tool or something similar? At the moment all I know about it is that you have to use a tech 2 to enable it at a dealer.

as far as i am aware you can only do that on VY when the dash is in diagnostics mode, the digital speedometer is only able to be used in the normal dash mode on VZ's i believe.

Na you can take it to the Holden dealer and they plug in a tech 2 to enable "police mode" which removes the speed alert and in its place puts the large digital speedo just like in the vz models, just wondering if this can be done with software rather then a tech 2
