Re: VS V8 Auto ADX wanted
From memory I think you can use the $A5(maybe C?) adx I know someone else has asked before, I guess we need to add it to the ADS thread file for info!
EDIT: I think I'm completely wrong with this as conversions would be all out maybe it was xdf I was thinking of?
I think it has been asked before though?

Re: VS V8 Auto ADX wanted
Thanks The1, I will look at that.
I am having other issues with this ECU and communication with modified bin files.
Perhaps you can help.
Have been trying to use VL400's NVRAM board and have used many of these in the past with great success , however I am having issues with this vehicle.
Basically I cannot get Tuner Pro RT to recognize the NVRAM board???????( or the Flashtool)
I have been talking to VL400 and trying to work through the issues with no success as yet ( Thanks to VL400 for his fantastic support ).
Just to fill you in with the vehicle details.
VS Statesman Brand new 355 stroker V8 Auto with 44Lb Injectors ? Large cam , ported heads , extractors , twin 2.5" exhausts , high flow cats, COME Racing twin throttle intake , 2500 RPM stall and ICE ignition.
I have now gone down the path of STD memcal (BPYS) and the vehicle starts and runs (briefly and very rich of course) no fault codes with scan tool.
Using a Moates extender board and a burnt chip std file , same result as above.
Using the same Moates board and a slightly modified Bin Inj scaling , the vehicle was logging prom id and trans 2-3 faults.
Burning the chip with AA bypass check sum and inj scale to suit the 44Lb inj and the vehicle starts and runs but still logs code for trans 2-3 sol.
Any ideas or suggestions.
PS still working with VL400 on this as well and still to come back to the NVRAM board.
Thank you.

Re: VS V8 Auto ADX wanted
umm from memory and this was a few years ago, i did some work on a mates VS V8 auto, and yeah ADX was VR V6 auto, and i think from memory it was the VR V6 auto ($11) xdf but somewhere in the trans tables it needed to be offset by one or two i think..... keep that in mind
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
Just starting out? Have a read of the getting started guide

If you actually have a 2-3 solenoid error (can test by masking the fault code) it is caused by the PCM not seeing the voltage on the output that it is expecting to (which is based on what it has set its output to), so I would be testing the wiring to the transmission / 2-3 solenoid and the solenoid itself of course.
