Re: better vs v6 bins ??
anyway it's not surprising that a p/chip doesn't make much of a difference as usually they are not all that much different to a standard bin.
What is it that your mate wants to gain from fitting a different chip? more power? better economy? revised shift calibration?
The enhanced standard bins are a good starting point (they are better bins) if you want to tune it yourself, theres plenty of info on here.

Re: better vs v6 bins ??
well if it was a power chip then its probably been removed due to copyright.
as far as i've heard power chip gold will give you an improvement but its also designed to run on 98 octane fuel, so if you arn't maybe try that and see if it makes a difference.
at the end of the day the best due for each individual car will be one thats made specifically for that car!!

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

This doesn't look to me to reference a standard bin ?krawczuk wrote:hi, i posted some various bin files on here a while ago, one was a p****chip g**d for a vs v6 auto.
either way usually if one of the admins or mods remove a copyrighted item they will post in its place with the reason it was removed.
