yeah its a fine line, change the diff too much and it will be a dog off the line but probably get better economy cruising, make it too much the other way and you get the issue you have, revving too much cruising so uses more fuel.

i've seen people do car computers with touch screens, i see no reason you couldn't do this with tunerpro to log / mp3's / videos etc.

Q: Does anyone no how the camshaft thrust bearing locates on the S1 VN V6?? there is a spring at the end of the cam (inside timing case) and a thrust bearing. - I have the spring still in the cam but the trust bearing is separate. Are they supposed to be joined together or does the trust bearing just sit on the spring maybe held by grease? until the timing cover goes back on to hold it all in place? or am i missing a bit? :?

thanx delco, im just wondering how it attaches to the spring? are the spring and bearing two separate pieces? is there something that stops them separating?
because i have them in two separate pieces ans wondering if that's normal and if it just sits floating until the cover is back on to stop it moving or if there is something else that holds the two pieces together?

i think i might be missing a locator that sits on the shaft of the thrust bearing. The spring has an internal id of about 10mm and the shaft on the thrust bearing is about 4.5mm and just flops around and falls away from the spring.
