Hi.
I'm having trouble with loading the ADX file into TunerPro RT. I always get " Unrecognised encoding,(parser does not support UTF-8 language encodings)". Can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong.
Also, should my RT board be jumpered on PCM, I have a VS V8 auto (it didn't come this way).
Thanks.

Your not loading the zip file by any chance? It needs to be extracted first and then opened in TunerPro.'quipt4it wrote:I'm having trouble with loading the ADX file into TunerPro RT. Yes it should be set to PCM.'quipt4it wrote:Also, should my RT board be jumpered on PCM, I have a VS V8 auto (it didn't come this way).

Hi,
Still the same error.
Does it matter what program opens the file ?
It's definitely going unzipped/(with Wordpad).
Thanks again.

Worpad is for text files not zip files. If your using win7 you can open zip files otherwise download a free zip utility such as 7-zip .. http://download.cnet.com/7-Zip/3000-225 ... 45185.html

Re: loading ADX file/TunerPro
like VL400 said, you cannot run them from windows, you need to go into tunerpro 5 and load them in there.
XDF menu for loading XDF, aquisition menu for loading ADX and XDL files.
XDF = definition file for modifying a tune (this is the list on the left hand side of the screen with scalars, flags and tables.
ADX = definition for logging the aldl data stream.
XDL = log file created when recording aldl data stream.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Hi Holden202T,
My problem is the actual extraction of the files, not the loading...
Thanks.

Re: loading ADX file/TunerPro
if you are trying to unzip VR_$11_v1.04-tp5.adx then there is no need to unzip, simply open the file in tunerpro as i mentioned above.'quipt4it wrote:Hi,
