Hey The1, thanks for the reply, sorry if I seem stupid, but, I am using everything as is stock (apart from engine upgrades) and tp5 and the wonderful flashtool thanks to delcohacking...

I only assumed because it was getting a reading it was ok, but obviously I am mistaken...

I am... What most would call a noob in the wannabeatuner group lol

if your not using a wideband kit then it's irrelevant.

the rest still functions as per normal, just because you dont have a wideband kit that particular readout wont display a usable figure. Where abouts are you upto? there are plenty of guides to get you started on here.

Until now lol I thought I as doing things drastically wrong due to bad values in wideband history log, now I know NOT to use that data for tuning I might actually get somewhere now hehe

I have already started to play with auto settings and pressures and starting to find a few tweaks are working for my driving style...

As for tuning... I have read most of the guides a few times to get my head around it all... So much to take in :wall:

Just learning what to adjust and where and how much...
For a example if the afr is a little out.

Only way you can know if thy AFR is out is if you have a wideband, but other than that you need to go off your Short term fuel trim history table with Long Term fuel trims turned off (but as you already found out don't leave them turned off if your driving & not tuning!

most use the innovate kits, MTX-L can get with or without gauge.

There is also kits from 14point7to1 which is handy if you want to also monitor extra things.
