yeah well i have neighbours and honestly i am over loud cars :P

i don't know what the muffler "brand" is other than its one that you would see on a speedway car, its thick plate so wont rust out like the normal street mufflers with methanol. it sounds fine and i'm sure it will flow fine, if it does happen to get red hot and i notice any marks outside the muffler then i'll worry about it :)

i'm pretty sure though if the speedway cars they use these on are fine then i wont have a problem with my humble 202 setup!

they are fine with an N/A setup with exhaust pulses in the exhaust stream but turbo they just flow a continous stream of hot gas .we ran 12psi supercharged no worries with 1 but when swapping to turbo it didnt work well at all

all good sam just trying to make it faster :D all turbo exhaust theory chapters in exhaust design books say never use chambered style mufflers on turbo cars slows spool drematically and caps horsepower early in the rev range.backpressure is the enemy the turbo works on the pressure difference between the manifold and exhaust system you cant go too big on pipe or too flowing on mufflers LOL.

well i have planned to put the car on the dyno this saturday morning, and it seems the gods are out to test me on that!

i had a mate come over the other day to see the turbo 202 for the first time and i went to start it for him, started for 1 second then died .... long story short it seems my bosch 044 decided to throw the towel in at that time ... FAARRRRKK!

so i have ordered another one hopefully to be here first thing tomorrow! in the mean time i had planned to replace the filter i had before the lift pump which has now been done and it has AN fittings on the ends so i can easily unscrew it and clean the gauze!

we finished putting the new fuel pump in the gem and sorted out the exhaust that was hitting on the floor so i warmed it up and thought i'd have a quick 15 odd second stab on the throttle :) about 70 % tps and went to top gear pretty quick and hit the spark limiter in top :P
