Yes, 5 or 6 would be std. It would be better if you could open it up to around .030" it could promote a better flame & less chance of fouled plugs. The Dato uses std plugs with .030" gap, open it to .040" & it starts to get a miss fire, the large volume of fuel(methanol) washes the flame out.

If it's not happy at .030" try a hotter plug & see if that changes it.

an old set of plugs i had for it were .030 but i think that was before boost .... but they worked fine at that in the N/A motor.

just checked out the old plugs that were in the car on the dyno (that didn't miss) and they were actually .030 gap so not as small as i thought! have gapped the new plugs to the same and also moved the crank trigger slightly closer to the balancer just to be safe!

in preparation for going to WSID hopefully sunday week i wanted to get the EGT probe into the manifold plus there was also a pin hole in the exhaust manifold i wanted to resolve and paint the turbo exhaust housing so i did and i have now got the probe nicely mounted!

its wried into the logger on the analog inputs so hopefully will be able to get an idea of how its running compared to the wideband.

well had a few issues, on sunday but managed to real off a 11.77 @ 118mph!

i REALLY need to get a bigger converter, it takes like 10 meters after the line before it really gets on boost well enough .... either way, was good fun once i sorted out some issues!

in the 11.7 run i noticed in the in car video the oil pressure dropped off to zero as did the temp gauge ... i didn't know this at the time but i thought i had fucked it so turned it off and got towed back to the pits, checked it all over and couldn't see an issue, so re-started it and oil normal .... so anyways i must have some electrical issue going on there i've never seen before!

theres some vids slowly getting put on youtube.com/kingnothin202/ as time permits. the 2nd one i dunno if it was my car or someone else but there must have been something on the track!!!!!!!! deep end traction loss is not cool!
