Hi Guys , ( Holden 202T and Darcey) good thinking open loop idle AFR , I did look at that and I think that I played with changing values to other than 14.7, cannot remember now.
It seems to read when in open loop command Idle afr to 14.25 ......14.7 etc depending on temp , what happens when closed loop is active at operating temp or does this table interact and if commanded 14.7 go into closed loop contol ??
I will look at that on the next vehicle.

The1 , I do not think that I could find injector timing??

if the PCM has gone into idle mode, it looks at the Idle F/A ratio table.
If the value in the table is stoich it goes into closed loop (fuelling), if not it goes into open loop (fuelling) idle.

Hi Guys , got a chance to look at open loop idle again.

I cannot get the vehicle ino open loop idle with the listed XDF , there is no parameter listed to command open loop idle.

The open loop idle table listed does not control open loop, only the commanded AFR when in open loop.
Setting this table to any other value has no impact on commanded AFR (when the vehicle has gone into closed loop control).

There must be other control tables not shown in the XDF???.

Hi VX L67 Getrag, sorry I did not see the flag.
Had a look at the file and yes that apears to be what we needed.

Not the same vehicle , just had another same model so I had a look at the control for if the first vehicle needs to come back.
Thank you for you assistance.

EDIT: Dont try this yet, the XDF is wrong for the flag address. It should be 5796 instead of 4014 if you want to change it.

Have you cleared the flag "CLOSED LOOP IDLE OPTION"?

There is still the normal delay when the vehicle comes to a stop to switch from closed to open loop.

Oh crap I'll have to fix them too, I thought they'd been fixed ages ago!

Yeah delay to open loop would be a worry for me too, hence why I went the way of throttle follower!
