VT not starting after VATS disabled

Holden/Delco Tuning. ALDL, OBD 1.5. Circa 1989 to 2004.

VATS stops fuel being injected, it is also meant to disable the starter after a delay.

yes you are correct, if there is an error with the memcal the fans will come on when you turn the ignition on.

well if nothing is livening up the ignition circuit (I take it the key switch isnt motorised and turning), then thats why. Your cranking but not 'on' and half the car isnt powered.

PS one of the funnyest things ive seen was someone with a remote start alarm, demoing the new unit and forgetting their car was in gear. Car, meet pole. :lol:

^ they must of fitted it wrong, all remote start alarms have a safety shutdown system. (im a audio/acc fitter) :D

Well my fans are coming on straight away with both of the new memcals. So there is something happening with the memcals. Emailed the guy i bought it off and im sending both back so he can check them out. Third time lucky? lol
