ALDL Reader 160/8192

Post by mayhem2408 »

Hi All

It's been a long time since I've done any work with this stuff, but thought some of you might like to play around with the software I was developing some years ago. Unfortunatly I no longer have an ALDL compatible engine as I am working on LS1 5.7Ls at the moment. The Zip file is about 6MB in size and can not be added as an attachment as the limit on this forum is 2MB. If anyone have somewhere where it can be hosted, I'll send you the file and you can put a link to it.

Welcome along!! Great to see you on here and am sure you will get a fair bit of interest in your software. I still use the beta version from the old development days :)

Is there a newer version than 0.4a build 439?

cos Ive got that version but i cant seem to get it working on my '808 ecu with 160 baud. my cable works thru winaldl, but when i use the same settings (com port etc.) it sees data coming thru (lots of 0's) but it cant interpret it into valid data. (ill have to get a screenshot when im in my car next) am i doing something wrong?

mayhem, u were saying on a different forum regarding this prog, that ur definition file for the vq should work for the vn/vp's and that if its working in winaldl it should work.

Anyone else got this working on the 808 ecu?

btw, great gui!
