hiace van microtech conversion
Im after a bit of info on things like modifying the distributor and stuff to work with the lt8 ecu? Im thinking you have to lock the advance on it? Its an efi hiace already and its got a turbo setup on it. Also any ideas where i can get an ecu pinout for a hiace?

If its EFI which also controlled the spark advance from factory its most likely got a fixed dizzy already. Microtech should have all the info you need as as far as how the dizzy is setup as the lt8 needs to have the triggering configured by microtech.

So we cant get a base map for the lt8 ecu because its to old now... microtech what a bunch of so and so.
Any ideas on a cheap ecu to run? Fueling is pretty close on it just need to pull timing on boost so it stops pinging
How hard would it be to set up the 808 to run it?

Well, I would go an 808 and 12p.... you probably wouldnt find too many people here who recommend anything else
So, distributor has a reluctor? TPS is 5v? injectors high impedance? If you answered 'yes' to all of the above then it should be quite straight forward. All you really need is to find a place to mount CLT and MAT. IAC and VSS are nice to have, but not essential. I assume you would already have a 2 bar MAP.
