Fuel injector choice.
Hi All,
thinking of picking up some new injectors as it seems that I have a problem with a leaking injector and i'm not keen on any more used or cleaned injectors as they don't seem to last.
Injectors are going into a bolt on only mod engine but allowing for a future rebuild with provision for boost, what would be good injectors to get that will work fine with the stock delco PCM and have a short enough PW to idle on a stock type tune
I've heard delcowizzid talking about the siemens deka 60lbs injectors.
Thoughts?
Thanks

ive used siemens 60lbers on a few boosted v6's now, they are great for turbo cars, but they do skew your fuel map a bit so expect to need to retune as soon as you install them. havent had any problems at idle with them either.

Re: Fuel injector choice.
i can go one step further and say 80lb's are ok at idle too hehee
but yeah unless your planning alcohol you don't really need the 80lb's!

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Then please tell all of us what you see in the photo so others don't get caught buying copies.vlad01 wrote:immortality wrote:I've heard there are cheap copies on ebay? don't know if it's true but rather not find out the hard way.

for example I believe these are copy of bosch. note the price and the color of them, also note that there is no mention of genuine or the word bosch on the sellers page
