Conversion was all pretty straight forward, most of the info is in Holden202T thread.Dylan wrote:How did you find the whole conversion pretty easy? The write up by Holden202T seems very good.
What loom did you start with?
I started with a VP V6 Commodore loom, then unwrapped the loom & moved the wires to new sensor locations etc. then re-tapped when I was happy with it.

Gunnedah is on 18th May.Holden202T wrote:i'm waiting on some bits to make up the custom leads and need to mount all the coils and wiring etc, that's about it really, the abs sensor on the crank with 36 - 1 and VL400's module is working flawlessly since the updated VR interface board!
delcowizzid, its not $30 lol but yeah did come with fittings, no braided line though, I had to buy speedflow stuff, most of them were the wrong size for what I wanted to do anyway as I have 3/8 lines going to the fuel rail now and 3/8 return to the regulator then 5/16 back to the tank from there.
I used the pressure gauge I had as mine only goes to 100psi, the one in the kit was 160psi and I ain't going to need it, so I figured get more accurate readings in the range I use this way!
as far as racing goes theres not really much on till mid june as far as sunday meetings go, that will give me plenty of time to get things done and also hopefully get it on the dyno - see if theres a Gunnedah airport meeting maybe

Re: My Delcoed Rides
ok so I have finally made some progress on the 6 x LS2 coils, its not a massive update but that's because I have run out of things to do till I can get some steel!
firstly I cut up all the LS2 coil brackets to rid them of the excess bracketness, and I've had a bit of a look and I reckon the plan is to mount them all on some angle iron on a 45 degree angle (so I can easily get at the screws to remove them).
I also got my package of msd leads and the LSx crimp connectors, so once I have the coils mounted i'll be able to work out the lengths then I can terminate all the leads!!
so like I said, not a lot of progress, but progress none the less

Re: My Delcoed Rides
Should be good, where do you plan on mounting them, on top of rocker cover?

in this picture see the empty space in the top left hand corner of the engine bay, above the brake booster.

Re: My Delcoed Rides
geez theres just no pleasing some people
Jayme is pretty close, but he also forgot to add that it was Friday and alcohol and tavern for dinner hampered proceedings hehehe
that said I did manage to whip this bracket up last night before dinner!
can get the coils off without having to remove any others and they just fit in the area provided!
the big question now is weather the speedway is cancelled in Parramatta due to rain, if it is i'll probably be able to get these working today, otherwise might be sunday!
