Trying to get logging with a VT V8 Auto and having Tuner Pro V5 crash and shut down program.
In the instructions BCM BE GONE "to enable logging using OSE plugin with BCM switched off edit ADX connection command macro and delete the listen silence/heartbeat/chatter commands".
There are one listen for silence , one listen for heartbeat and two listen for chatter?????
Listen for disable chatter and listen for enable chatter.
Do we delete both of these or have i missed something.
Thanks guys.

Re: Re BCM be gone.
You can remove both listen for chatter items, they are both going to try and contact the BCM.
Another way is to just change the way TP connects and only have the monitor command. That way you can leave all the commands in the ADX and instead TP just tries to log data..

Re: Re BCM be gone.
Hi VL400 , thank you for the reply, I will try this on Monday morning and see how we go.
I have been messaging THE1 and trying to get this vehicle up and running with a modified extended file due to higher airflow and limits in the original VS bin file.
At present there is no extended file to suit the Ser 3 VS V8 Auto.
This is a VS V8 ser 3 Ute with SC (Vortec) Auto.
At present we are using a VT SER 1 V8 Auto extended file and having check light issues.
Also having scantool connection issues and communication issues.
Even when the vehicle came in we could not communicate with it.
It did have a Modified memcal ( possibly Kalmaker)
I have been able to connect with my scantool set to VS V6???? with both the original memcal and the VT extended memcal.
The vehicle wiring is very similar to VT apart from no second O2 Sensor input ( VS 1 O2 and VT 2 O2's).
I have dummied up a second o2 and this seems to work for now.
Not sure if BCM issues are part of this.
I am aware of the BCM comms issues and have unplugged the BCM , though I will put a switch in the line to enable it to be turned on and off at will.
Any thoughts and or comments.?????

Re: Re BCM be gone.
I think in VS S3 the chatter is far less than VT, there most likely wont be the heartbeat which is probably why the scan tool works on VS V6 mode.
Can check the chatter using the flashtool - the tools menu has a Listen to chatter window.
