Vn to Vt L67 Conversion extra wires

Post by cOronA »

Ive Recently put a L67 from a Vt S2 into a manual VN by splicing the engine harness into the vn harness and removing vats etc.
Im having a few issues and wondering if anyone here could shed some light on them.
Firstly is anyone able to tell me what these wires are/point me in the direction of a wiring diagram with these wires:
Engine connector 3 (YE112)
Light Green
Light Blue
Brown/Blue
Engine Connector 1 (YE110)
Black/White (ABS?)
Orange

Yellow wire on the ALDL connector
I have a few diagrams/looked at the ones here and a gregory's,but ive been unable to find them.

Im also getting code 48 with tunerpro (cam sensor input missing), what would the best way be to test the sensor/wiring? The magnet is definitely there and ive tried a spare sensor. My high speed fan is also always on, I believe from the missing cam signal?
I can post some logs if anyone is interested.
Sorry to ask so many questions, any help would be hugely appreciated :)

Do you have the VT bcm? If not the pcm will turn the high speed fan on when it can't talk to it.

Ah cheers, I didn't realise. I do have the BCM, but its probably easier for me to use a seperate fan controller if there isnt a flag for it. :)

Are you using the VT ignition module? The cam sensor is processed by the module and sent to the PCM.

The yellow wire on the diagnostic connector, which pin number is it?

The yellow wire is no. 2 on the connector.
I am using the Vt module, I do have a spare VY V6 Ignition module though, any idea wether these would be the same for testing?
Thanks
