hell yeah it did :)

magic day as far as weather went! so because of my lame fuel system I replaced the 14 psi wastegate spring with a 10 psi, but as the 14 psi spring was like 17.5 I wasn't sure what I was going to get, ended up being 13 psi, for a 11.71 sec pass, this was more than my old motor with 17 psi (11.77) so was looking promising, checked the log, fueling was commanding 4.7 AFR and the wideband showed 4.63 the whole way so I was happy with that.

mind you the first pass was shit cause the tranny was being gay! had linkage adjustment issues, managed to get it good enough to be able to work it pretty well, 3rd pass was as before but screwed the wastegate adjustment screw right in which usually gives another 1-2 psi increase .... did a 11.29 @ 123mph and it was hauling!

4th run was a good start but third gear change was ................ lame as lame! anyways 11.63 ... the video below is of that pass, its the only one I managed to work the camera properly with it behind me in the car :(

anyways, was a great day, my mate also managed a 11.03 @ 122mpg with his 304 VH.

i'll add some outside videos soon, my mate has them on his phone!

in this one you can also see how dodgy the gear change into 3rd is, its the same log as the above video in my previous post.

Great result on the 11.29  There is so much left in it too. The poor old trimatics are not lasting very well!

nice effort she sounds like it screams now when its on boost.a big stall convertor so it gets on boost before 60 foot out the hole and it will gain so much time it wont be funny

also being you allready run meth ide fit an extra hose barb injector in the pipework before your TB and run one for charge cooling if you arnt going to run a cooler for now it would drop them intake temps massively.

actually yeah its making boost just as i nail the throttle on the line, before it was taking about 10 meters to get on boost, so the new cam is definately working better.

i wont be racing again till i get my original box rebuilt with all the good bits, hopefully then i'll have some more luck with it!
