VY $060B XDF Force Motor Pressure tables incorrect

Post by slushbox »

Hey all, I'm just getting started here and I need the help of the delco gurus :)

Can someone take a look at the Force Motor Pressure tables in the VY $060B xdf? They seem to be quite incorrect, as in the values are way different from what should be typical.

Can someone who knows check the table addresses and any other relevant details and update this xdf? I would really appreciate it.

Also, as a side note, it would be great to get this xdf filled out a little more. If the guys with the know-how (VL400, delcowizzid, VX L67 Getrag, yoda69 etc.) can't spare any more time on it at the moment, would you be able to point me in the right direction as to what I would need to learn/know to work on the xdf and reversing the binaries myself? I have 5 years experience as a programmer but no experience yet with assembly or the delco system. :geek: However, if it's at all possible to learn, I'm willing to put the work in and hopefully I can eventually give back to this community.

Thanks in advance,
Matt

Not sure whats going on there as all the VX-VY bins have the exact same trans section!
What bin are you using & does it compare with other complete 128k bins?

My binary is from a VYII Berlina V6, revision DSZT same as 92162167.BIN from the memcal id tool data set. Are you saying the trans tables should have the same address in the $060A and $060B XDFs? Because they are defined as different addresses, but I thought the $060B bins had a different offset anyway. I'm not quite sure how that works.

Stock tune from a 2004 VYII with close coupled cats. In the same bin with the $060A xdf the values go from 0 to 90, which seems correct (so I guess table address in $060A is correct for this bin then?).

With $060B the values are much higher, but the table also seems inverted or something.

But I should be using the $060B xdf, right? It just needs a little fixing?
