Re: Enhanced Factory Bins
Tuning post CAT and closed loop will give you issues......
I always tune in open loop , pre cat ....I have motec PLM and Tech edge 2J9...Some will argue that readings are no different , at WOT this is sometimes true .
Part throttle it will be can very different and it depends on how long the car has been running on dyno and cat condition .
I have been tuning part time for over 9 years and have been fortunate enough to be involved with lots of engine and chassis dyno testing and have seen first hand the inconsistancies with tuning post cat .
Cheers
Kyle

I thought WOT will always be closed loop?

Re: Enhanced Factory Bins
always open loop unless the load point is commanding 14.7
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Enhanced Factory Bins
I have a standard vx s/c v6 with 10 psi pulley
Will the enhanced vx s/c tune at the start of this thread suit a standard maf ?

Re: Enhanced Factory Bins
it will help if you go over the stock limit of 10082hz it will keep scaling the fueling, stock maf can go a little further, have seen some goto 10,500hz
Re: Enhanced Factory Bins
Sorry guys, havn't had time to do any more programming of late, i really want to get back into it some time and get the goods out. Only thing i can report atm is a dyno graph of a vs auto ute i tuned a while ago with a 10psi raptor attached. Using the VS Enhanced N/A

Re: Enhanced Factory Bins
is it just me or does that dyno graph only show a few points, like its not a smooth line cause of not enough samples through the rev range ?
either way good power for 10psi.

yeh i got the same feeling, at the end of the day i was surprised this Raptor 10psi made 20kw more than L67 10psi, obviously loss's at the belt and internal temps with Eaton.
