Tuning issue

It might have a kalmaker security pal under the memcal chip, and so your other chips/moates dont pass the security test. I think kalmaker is set up so that if you realtime edit something then the security turns off so that you can do your tuning then buy the security pal, but with your moates you wont be able to do that. Trying to use the plugin and edit a value might be enough to get the car started even if the value does stick, then do your tuning on moats without powering it down. If that works, it's clumsy but you can transfer the security chip to the next memcal or reflash the original memcal. Perhaps you could even socket the original memcal over the security chip and stack the moates on that.

Ok here is the ecu and memcal looks nothing out of the ordinary???
The injectors are just dumping in fuel with my tune even with injector rate/flow correction
and alteration to ve map to the point its fouling brand new plugs.
Put this memcal back in it runs but not well as its not tuned for the 355 and cam.

Tune attached unmodified just a straight read.
My thought is injectors as they are an unknown ,they are 775 hsv injectors.
Got me stumped on this one.
Im going to test the ecu on another car when i get a chance.

bin opens with 16183082 $12 version 1 xdf.set program id to AA. ide say you running on the limp home mode resistors .no wonder that tune marked knock knocks its got crazy timing

yeah that kalmaker tune is "SDS5A". I cant tell you what that is or how to tune it (i dont know), but its certainly not SP2 or SP3. I think its very closely related to factory $5A "Like VR's $12 release but VS Theft Deter Implemented".

Maybe try disabling vats if you havnt, or 12p set to VS vats? Not sure what you have there, just a thought.

Yeah delco the prev one i tried to alter injector rate and ve map
with the $12 xdf not my tune at all.
Odd that it goes into limp mode with my tune but runs and is driveable but barely on this kalmaker tune.
If i loaded my tune it would just fuel up no matter what i did.
Tried my gear on vr manual ute no problem at all.
Could it be a faulty ecu? Causing the issues?
Vats have been tried both disabled and enabled on my tune.
Didnt try on the kalmaker tune.

Tested the ecu in another vr 304 manual yesterday.
Tried my memcal and the kalmaker one and runs near perfect at idle (cammed 304 with 24lb injectors).
Looks to be some dodgy injectors on the other engine ,they were second hand 775s
but seem to dump fuel in no matter what i do,he got em cheap so who knows,i suspect they have been drilled out
to flow more and have been stuffed then sold off cheap.
Going to try a dif set of injectors,see how we go.

weve had dodgy 42lb green tops brandnew ones it happens sometimes.would cruise at low tps on 5 cylinders then goto 6 the moment you put any load on.turns out 1 was sticking open

Hi guys come across this issue on another car today,a vs gts 6speed
Had a kalmaker tune runs fine,tried my tune wont go,tried using
the emulator and it runs but high idle and not all parameters will
change its really odd. Works fine in all other cars.
The memcal was a kalmaker chip by the look of it and this one
had a security chip/board under the eprom.
Ecu looked stock,had some extra wiring in the loom I noticed
and it will not run on an 808 with either tune.
Bloody annoying,now im certain something has been
done but not sure what as this is now the second car
with exactly the same issues.
I can tune any other car without issue though.
Any ideas? This one has me stumped.
