Yea if you send those abs commands that the1 posted using the flash tool or you can make them into
An adx for tp5 and send them using the send macro command

began to log the brake bleed procedure on a VX, after a few logs and getting pretty much the same data back i am beginning to think that maybe the commands are send via pin 12 from the diagnostics connector to the abs module

Pretty sure on my vs its on the same data wire, the abs wire is just to enable blinking codes.

went through a few more logs of the brake bleeding and found this
F9,60,4,E8,3,E8,3,F,0,1,22,64,0,37

currently away from my car atm so unable to test for a few weeks,
does anyone have a wiring diagram to wire a up a BCM to test on the bench?

Yeah I should be able to see what my snap-on tool sends for ABS brake bleed, TBH I've never done bleed through tool just do it while running on the hoist wheels off the ground ER!

Anyone had experience with SDM modules after they have been in a crash?
Does something "trigger" in them so they cant be used again? As in they permanently set off the airbag alarm?

Tech2 doesnt display anything about crash data although have heard that the above is the case?

Damn must be expensive to replace all the stuff inside.

Well its been resolved anyways, when the car has been in a major accident, the sdm logs a "airbags deployed", and once thats done, the module must be replaced.
Seems such a waste to chuck the "perfectly good" sdm out, guess holdens just seeing it from a safety perspective, just like when you ask for them to clear a SRS fault.. they "have to" do a whole SRS checkup so it ends up costing $120 to clear it!

Getting ready to beat my tech2 with a stick, Any function tests or valve tests for the ABS module fire off the mode6 frames. I figure the tech2 is looking for the response before sending the mode4.
Think its a matter of getting a read during a proper bleed procedure and see what happens.

Starting to run out of things to do on the Tech2 with VY/VZ's.

The only things that need to be "verified", would be key programming and also bcm/pcm linking. From what I have gathered, it follows the same procedure as everything else with getting the correct access and sending a couple frames to do the whole job.
Iv got a BCM on bench.. will need a PCM and a blank key to test it all out.. unless im feeling game to experiment on the car :wtf:

If anyones feeling game with a bcm/pcm bench setup that normally works with a scantool/tech2... let me know!
