You'll also want a memcal adapter so you can plug the memcal into the eprom programmer without having to unsolder the chip.
I think The1 was advertising these adapters in the For Sale section a while ago. If you're going to re-program it often, you're better off unsoldering the eprom and replacing with a socketed flash chip.
It would probably also be worth getting a spare memcal to work on, so you still have your original one if you muck something up.

another option is VL400's realtime nvram chips, then just use the stock memcal as a backup and can uv erase and update ocasionally if you want to.

not sure what the going price is for them these days but this is the stuff i use.

programmer
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MCUmall-Canada- ... 3972wt_904

eraser
http://www.ebay.com/itm/EPROM-Chip-UV-U ... 991wt_1399

if you want to get a nvram setup PM VL400, you'll probably also need an aldl interface which he can help you with aswell.

If you dont want to bother with the UV eraser and just want a standard memcal i have those as well, can be erased and reflashed with just the burner.

Adaptors here also.
