yeap i am putting in the manual ECU.

So let me get this straight: i put in manual ECU + dump bwfw code downloaded from here and i should be up and running with a BCM ?

Also another question, do i need a max232 circuit or the transistor buffer to hook efilive to this ECU ?

OK wired in the manual ECU, dumped bwfw on the 29c256 and still no start.
I get fuel pump as normal but not firing.

Put in an asbx original chip and she fires up ok.

Wondering if i still have a VATS issue ??

Any help will be appreciated.
Cheers....

Capper,
Maybe a long shot, but try setting $000C, Bit 0 to 1.
ie. change the value of $000C from $1E to $1F.
I think this is where VATS is for the $12 bins.
Worth a try anyway.

there should be a flag in the xdf's for it just have to make sure you get an xdf that the spark table lines up correctly with your bin its in there
