i'm sure someone will be able to help you, but we probably need a bit more information.

firstly, where are you located ? what is the memcal ID (the grey sticker on the memcal) ? was it originally auto before you put the T400 in it ? VS V8, if its series 3 it will have had a MAF ? or is it MAP system ? do you have a 2 / 3 bar map sensor on it if MAP system ?

it will more than likely be easiest to run it on $12P, use a vr manual computer and or vn computer modded with high speed comms.

its a map system,i have a 2 bar map sensor and 42lb injectors.the car was originally a v6,but i swapped everything out os a vs donor car (same year too)

i have the vs ecu and i also have a vn one. is it hard to adapt the vn ecu to the vs harness?

keep it simple for me :wtf: :P

I need something done in the next week or so. The car is at the mechanics now getting the last bits finished and he needs to start it next week.

More than happy to pay for someone's time and ability!

Going to order a haltech on Friday. Seems a lot of talk about tunerpro but very few people and actually do anything with it. And no dyno guys are interested in using it

well why don't you do the tuning yourself and just hire the dyno time ?

i'm not surprised dynos and tuners don't use tunerpro, they know haltech and make alot of money off the product! why bother learning something new for 20+ yr old computers ?

It depends where your at. You will get better results with the stock pcm and for less, but as you say you need someone prepared to take it on (if you dont want to do it yourself). What area are you in?

I won't tune it myself. I don't have the computer smarts to do it.

I'm happy to take the car to Sydney to be tuned (2 hours away) but I still can't find any of these magical tuners.

I understand how good the delco is and that's it's the best value for money, but I'm a strong believer of the computer is only as good as the tune. And I can't see any way of getting someone to tune it

think of how much money GM spent developing the software to run these cars. how many hours holden engineers spent on the engine dyno tuning it for all driving conditions. its at the point where you can mod your motor, do some widebanding and VE work and it drives like a stock one.
some dyno operator with a haltech has no chance of rpelicating the drivability of a stock computer..... such a shame such a small amount of people are willing to professionally tune them

Totally agree, find your tuner and ask them what they recommend
