vt v6 and vt ls1

Post by mercury »

Hey everyone rather new to this but I have a couple of questions ive modified cars for years and just now getting into the nitty gritty ecu side of things my questions are im toying with the idea of writing some software for my android phone to communicate properly with the older ecu's namely the vt v6 and vt ls1 now ive managed to use a cheap bluetooth obd elm327 to talk to my ls1 in a round about fashion having to mannualy give it code and request info
My question is where can I find more of how the language actuay works with the v6 and the ls1

Thanks in advance for any help

Research aldl and have a look at the tunerpro adx files. Note that aldl is 8192 baud, so you need some hardware that can get that signal in to your phone.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
