they are custom tabs we had professionally fitted to make the T350 convertor fit our flexplate.we are glad he spotted it before towing the car to the new dragstrip and being the first people to spread oil and trans all down the brandnew strip LOL.im taking it to my old work tomorrow and getting it up on the hoist for some rewelding should be good for another 100 passes.in all reality we may be looking at another convertor soon we flash stall into the 5000 rpm range with the holset on there and im about to machine a 0.63 rear to fit on for testing which will make it worse LOL

as usual here we are 2 weeks before the drags and the cars needing repairs and tuning ive been here before LOL

we have the 50th aniversary of the port road drags in 2 weeks its 1/8th and on the street obviously.we get put up against the serious cars to knock us out early as we go to fast for no cage but we get a few runs in while qualifying and doing practice.so we just there to have a skid and a little testing.last year we were fastest 6 cylinder and the owner got a cool trophy.and burnouts at lunch time we allways get amongst that as theres limited cars there that want to please the crowd with skids.

what do they consider too fast ? over here anything in the 10's over the 1/4 is cage material.
