Hi, i recently bought a new memcal for my vr v8 manual and i did a log at idle with a few revs. One reason to see if everything is looking ok, and 2 becuase i have an enormous amount of fuel (i think) coming out of my exhaust, either at idle or throttle.
Can someone please take a look at my log and see if everything is ok? i have only recently, about 3 months ago replaced iac, tps, cts and the cts wiring and gauge temp sensor. i read somewhere that the cts voltage should read 3.3 - 3.5v which mine doesnt go anywhere near, but the temp seems to be climbing and dropping fine. i have thermos with an adjustable switch so thats why my operating temp doesnt go too high. (can someone confirm the best temp my au twin thermos should be set to) i am about to replace the oxygen sensor too but want to double check if i need to. I didnt have a thermostat in for this log, incase that matters. thanks
last thing is can someone show me the best adx file to use for a vr v8 manual. thanks

well the oxygen sensor is definitely doing something, but its hard to see without a wideband.... but if the narrowband is anywhere near reading right its definitely not too rich ...
im not sure on that ADX though, its a bit average, i'd see if you can find a bit better one.

are you sure its not just black water ? this is fairly normal, you need to take it for a nice long drive and burn all the water out of the exhaust system then see if its still an issue.
as for the ADX go for $12 one.

thanks, ill use the $12 one
i dont think it is, it smells really petroly, burns your eyes almost. i dont think its water, my whole exhaust (even extractors) is only 5000kms old and i have taken it on many long drives and still the same, and i have excessive fuel consumption. about 300-350kms a tank. why would there be water in there anyway? could it be that my cts is faulty?

The water Is caused from condensation (hot gasses with clod pipe/outside temp.
Also if the car has a catalytic convertor the water will be worse until everything is up to operating temp.

Re: Did a Log, do the values look ok?
operating temp is anything over 82* your half way there in the log LOL.the o2 sensor is cold and not doing much and wont tell you much. the wet out the exhaust will be water ie condensation.get a thermostat in it and get it upto a good operating temp cold running will just kill it
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
