If you look at the other log, there is an operating temp log. Which the temp is around 87 degrees and then the thermo kicks in and drops to 80ish. Have a look at that one and the thermostat wasn't in as I was doing a flush before I put in a new radiator. Once off run.
Yes the motor is stock. Why is that?
Did a Log, do the values look ok?

Re: Did a Log, do the values look ok?
i would take a look at the IAT sensor its not really moving and with the car sitting not moving it should trend with coolant temp as it sits near the hot head.and the o2 sensor looks like its still cold or lazy/dead it may not heat up untill you drive
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Re: Did a Log, do the values look ok?
Could it reading like that mean it's dead as it was idling for about half an hour. And if it is dead could it cause fuel to spray out the exhaust?
Where is the iat sensor on a vr v8 manual? And what does iat stand for? I'm assuming it's intake air sensor? Thanks

IAT is MAT or inlet air temp and will be screwed into the third runner back on the passenger side of the inlet manifold near where the injectors go in.you really need to go for a drive to see if its running any good cant tell much from just idling

Ok I'll take it for a drive when my new radiator comes and I get her up and running. Which will be by next week hopefully. Apart from the Oxy and iat did everything else seem ok? Thanks for your responses.

Ok so I just went to the wreckers and got a iat and Oxy sensor and I'll see if they make a difference, and I also got a fuel dampner thing that goes on the inlet side of the fuel rail.

your not referring to the fuel pressure regulator ? i didn't think they had a damper ?

They had a dampener on passenger side back of head.
