The reason it cant be tuned is that its using an auto 424 ecu still and there is no 2 bar tune yet.
So that's why no one can tune it with tuner pro just yet.
If you use a vr /vs manual ecu and harness not a problem can use 12p.
Otherwise kalmaker is the next option.

some dyno operator with a haltech has no chance of rpelicating the drivability of a stock computer..... such a shame such a small amount of people are willing to professionally tune them
yeah I don't get this either.

I dunno if this will change anything or not but I have just sourced a vs manual ecu and loom. (Yes I found rocking horse shit!)

I'm guessing the looms will just unplug/plug in place of each other?

Is there anything else I need to do?

What the hell do I do about speedo and speed sensor?

I also got one laying around in my shed, a police PCM. I never used it and opted for the 808 instead.

glad I did.

Use a t5 or t700 speedo sensor that's all you need to change.
Its screws onto the turbo 400 speedo believe it or not.
The manual loom is a simple swap.

I thought the vn sensor was different to the vs one. Isn't one a Hall effect and the other is a signwave?

So the dash/speedo will still work?

The dash gets a square wave sent to it so will still work, but might need a speedo corrector to keep it accurate. The original auto speed sensor is 40 pulse/rev, the PCM then sends a 4 pulse/rev signal to the dash. The VN ECU or VR man ECU can work directly with a 4 PPR signal.

once you get it all set up this tune should get it running its a std 5.0 with a gt42 turbo running 14psi.it has 42lb injectors. runs great but your turbo may make boost a bit earlier so its only a base. And if your interested this car with its stock engine making 320rwkw has been running happily for two years!!!!
