VT and VY campatible?

Are VT and VY V8 ecu plugs the same? Got a customer put a VT V8 ecu into a VY and cant get it to start.

only the pcm? but isnt the pcm married to the bcm for vats ?

does it crank? VATS on V6's only does the injectors would imagine it's the same on V8's, BCM does starter relay.

Cranks for 3 seconds. Key has to be returned to the lock position before it will crank again. Sometimes it will start but runs for 3 seconds
