Re: VL commodore performance chip ?
27C128 should work they run a 16kb bin just a little harder to chip than a delco
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

convert it to a delco
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
Just starting out? Have a read of the getting started guide

Re: VL commodore performance chip ?
some people seem to have the idea that this definition should be kept secret lol but I made one from a trial of nistune and a bit of time.. so its not that secret just cant find it so here is one that somone else made.
freedom of information!
vl turbo is the same definition as the n/a ones too

Re: VL commodore performance chip ?
Thanks will have a play today
A tip when removing the old eprom resolder it before using the solder sucker It makes it easier
Get it nice and hot and place the sucker around the pin as it has to suck solder from the other side of the circuit board.
And they didn't mention it is also glued to the board as well.

Re: VL commodore performance chip ?
I cheat
just cut all the pins off the eprom with a pair of fine wire cutters, then unsolder each pin individually. done three VL ecus all worked great.
