tunerpro bin troubles

Post by turbo_will »

Hey guys great forum heaps of awesome info. I have a auto v6 vt Im turboing and im having a problem were the loaded bin displays all zeros no data. Im not sure what im doing wrong xdf/bin is $A5G from the enhanced section on here. The xdf seems to be working it comes up with all the tables no probs. The only one I can get to work is $5D with ARBP bin for the VNs. The only time ive had this problem with the falcon bins/defs was when they weren't matching but they just had scrambled data. Ive tried the other xdfs and bins around with no luck. Cheers Will

are the bins unzipped? they should be 16kb, 32kb, 64kb or 128kb in size. If they are not then you have a broken file or they are in the wrong format.

Thanks for the reply, bins are unzipped and 128kb in size. The vn one that works is 16kb. Maybe they are unzipping in the wrong format or something?

post up an xdf and bin pair that arnt working for you for us to see. dont zip them or anything, just as they are off your pc. if the forums complain about the format report back and i'll fix that.

Bummer, yea I thought the files would be ok as ive tried so many from vs-vy with the same issue.

When I load the files and open say main spark vrs rpm vrs mgc the table that opens only has two boxes both with zeros and the axis arnt labelled eg rpm or whatever. The same thing happens for all the other tables. Not sure whats going on. The tuner pro im using is version RT 4.14
