t5 manual speedo

hey guys looking for answers i converted my vs seires 2 to a manual with a t5 box got the pcm and tune from the1

ive been told bye a few people to give the speed sensor 12volt pink/blue wire earth black/white D2 pin on pcm the purple wire BUTTT still no speedo please help

just the vs ecu that has been changed from auto to manual

Reading between the lines I already guessed it's an Ecotec ecu?
I just wanted to clear it up for myself and anyone else looking at this trying to help.
To make sure I get the correct wiring diagrams out.

purple wire needs to go to D2, and also looped across to the purple/white wire at the plug heading across the dash.

so to the d2 pin and aslo to the other wire that is behind the glove box im guessing ?

is that also the same wire i can find under the driver side kick panel at the white conecter heading up to the cluster
