Re: Vlad's VP executive (Now VR)
Well, I drew up a tool in impact CAD for a main seal installation tool.
I made a flange plate that bolts down flush with the crank flange. that pushes the seal in most of the way. then I take the plate off and fit the spacer ring which is 4.5mm thick, workshop manual states the seal must be set 4.2 to 4.7mm max depth from the crank flange. 4.5mm is good depth.
Once the ring is placed, I bolt the plate flush again and the seal is pressed perfectly square and to the 4.5mm depth. Took me a whole 5 min to do the seal
I have to make an adjustment tpo the tool. the 8 holes on the PCD are perfect on the tool. Seems on the crank they have one bolt hole offset due to the dowel hole next to it. You can see that one odd hole in the picture.

That should also work for Ecotec's

Re: Vlad's VP executive (Now VR)
its suppose to be 5mm thick, which is too deep, but its actually 4.48mm or there about. The range is 4.2 to max of 4.7mm seating depth going by Gregory's
I just cut it from a sheet at work on our Zund cutters we sell.

Re: Vlad's VP executive (Now VR)
its a 3D pdf. should work fine with up to date adobe reader. Could also be DirectX graphics card driver related if otherwise.
