Re: vn v6 turbocharger choice
Haha yea I might just stick with the walbro intank then for the sake of simplicity.
No vlad not them.
The manifolds dont look like they flow all that well and if I had done it I would have gone a different way but the were probably the cheapest manifold and dump pipe I have ever seen for a vn commo so im not going to complain... much lol. As long as I can make boost with them I wont be fussed.
Delcowizzid suggested the deka 60s for my application and since ill likely be asking him nicely for a base tune im just going to go with that lol

yeah man they'll be sweet unless your making wild amounts of power!
the pump my brother has is a walbro 255 or something ?

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

They don't look like the worst manifolds around. I have seen some rough pipes, at least those have a half decent merge.
Just have a look what Delco has achieved with basic log manifolds on that turbo V6 VB Commodore that he spanners.

I have seen pics of his log manifold its pretty good. There is one pipe that doesnt quite line up right on the collector, ill take another pic to show you what I mean....
The walbro gss340 or 341 or something like that is tge bolt it 255 litre per hour pump which your brother has and ill be getting the same. Hopefully this shouldnt take more than a couple months to get everything, tgen start with the fit and fiddle

Re: vn v6 turbocharger choice
the only reason ours lives is the surge tank LOL even with the tank if we do donuts at full throttle for too long the surge emptys and the car stalls.commodore tanks are bad for sucking air and all the cars that pop engines for no reason on low boost dont have a surge tank one gulp of air and its over when pushing in boost
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Re: vn v6 turbocharger choice
Ok ill take your advice on that one.
Will the walbo 255 lph work well as a lift pump to the surgetank? Or is there a better alternative? Then perhaps the 2 external pumps from the surge tank onwards?
If nothing else im prepared to lash out and buy a bosch 044 down the track a bit if thw pumps I have dont keep up.
I usually keep my tank above half so should be all sweet

Awesome walbro intank it is then. I have noticed a few on feepay (ebay) but the price of them varies a bit, what part number walbro am I looking for is it the gss341 or gss340 or some thing different?
Also given the price differences im not sure whats legit and what isnt so what shoupd I expect to pay for a genuine walbro?

most are NOT legit. I would stay away from fleabay for pumps and most fuel system parts as its filled to the brim with counterfeit parts.
The counterfeit walbro are so close to exact you can only tell some apart by cutting them open.

We all know there is alot of crap on ebay but im not ruling it out a source of parts. I believe there is good stuff to ve had there if you do your research on the sellers etc. I have purchasef plenty of engine parts for my 5 litre and never had a worry.
Where did you get yours from? If there is a known reliable source of siemens deka 60 injectors and walbro pumps id like to know lol also which p/n did you use? Was it the gss340, 341 or 342m
