if you are running a VR engine, you should use a VR manual tune. different spark, different fuelling. itll run loads better.

ok no error codes came up on scan. i cut the grey wire, runs abit better, it did come up 'tcc not grounded' but the 'tcc command' was off could this have anything to do with it? tcc is torque converter clutch..

yea tcc is torque convert clutch it should have basically voided that fault code being manual mode now it was definately pin b10 you cut there is numbers on the back of the connectors with letters at one of the ends. if you have maybe just try disconnecting the battey it may need to be completely powered off for it to change to manual mode. im not to sure what you mean with the hoses do you mean that there is a second port on the throttle body open?

you didnt happen to have anything plugged into the vp aldl port at all because the tcc wire does run into that plug its the grey/red wire on the aldl connector

im not quite sure what you meant, where is the aldl and should i be cutting b10 out of that or the tcc? im thinking of getting a new loom and rewiring it, im pretty sure its the vr auto loom,i didnt originally wire it so would be better of getting a vp manual or auto loom to run with the 808 ecu?

Thats sounds like the best way for you. Get a vn vp loom and ecu. Have the ecu modified and run 12P.

if its a VR auto loom, its way different to VN/VP, different pin out and more wires for the auto and stuff.
I tossed my VR auto loom and started from scratch using a VN loom as the basis to do my VR manual conversion.

yeah i have re-pinned a vn v8 loom to a VR auto pcm, almost every wire is in a different location!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
