nah same loom, the patch loom is the separate little loom that connects from the gearbox and connects up to the main body loom under the radio/console area. From there the signal are carries to the ECU loom via the interface plug just above the ECU.

This little loom is obviously different from auto to manual, it has the auto/manual select loop running though it. It make configuring the car for auto/manual at the factory fast and easy and fool proof.

the manual one has also the neutral start loop built in so it always starts, and no connection plug for the auto box. should have a pic somewhere of one.

here we go!

the new one of the right is a little different as the handbrake light is actually a separate wire on the VR so you don't see the yellow wire there. Also the plugs are different due to different main loom in VR. VSS signal is carries from the no longer used power/eco switch wiring :lol:

The one of the left is a genuine VN/VP manual patch loom.

yeh that just made my head explode il just wait for dazza or anyone else who is keen to come have a look and play around this shit is way over my head im a spray painter haha
surely its not impossible but..
