Defeated......

But going to try something else in the mean time.

edit: found a typo in a command data process 1 but that didn't fix it. Bloody dyslexia put 63 instead of 67

Try this one. Couple of minor changes, the one stopping it connecting was the first message had the wrong number of return bytes.

Cheers mate,

I can see 2 changes you made. One was the typo I had made to the packet payload size (67) and the other is the time out (3ms).

edit: yep, this one works :)

 good stuff.

The inter frame delay at 1ms caused the PCM to not reply to consecutive messages. The requests happened faster than it could handle so the logger connects but only at about 1hz. If you find this still happens on 3ms push it out to 5ms.

All good now. Took the missus to work this morning and recoreded a datalog with the logger :) Bit odd though with the dash displaying a whole lot of warnings.

Told her it was time for a bit of maintenance (it has a slightly noisy belt on a cold start), i.e fitting a smaller pulley :D

For some reason my SD card corrupted? Had to re-format it.

Damn shame too, I had just run a log with the new pulley, I had a quick look through the data when I saved it and for some reason it was showing a maximum of 914 milligrams per second of airflow which seems high for just a 8 psi pulley upgrade. With the wet weather predicted over the next few days I'm not going to be able to get a full throttle run in.

Occasionally my PC says a card cant be read and needs formatting, removing and inserting again has always fixed it - happens on my camera cards too so its most likely the PC car reader. Have not had it happen where it had to be formatted after that though, and have taken hundreds of logs. Bad timing by the sounds of it too

If it happens again try another card maybe.
